Receipt scanner for freelancers

Freelancers usually need a simple yearly expense list for their tax return, not a $20/month expense app.

Workflow

  1. Open the free receipt scanner.
  2. Drop up to 5 receipt images per batch (free) — text recognition runs in your browser with tesseract.js, nothing is uploaded.
  3. Fix any field in the editable table.
  4. Download CSV.

Keep the original photos too: many tax authorities require the receipt itself, not only the spreadsheet row.
